Last year Mayor James & Council started to try and erase the 7/4/02 fire that killed three great men, by dis-including the fire service in the july 4 celebration.
In the past fire departments would march past the site of that tragic event to pay tribute, last year mayor James took that away from them.
On Dec. 23, 2010 Mayor James and Council went even further they laid off 8 firefighters. Staffing levels were increased as a direct result of the July 4 fire.
This year the mayor and council decided to have a parade, but again no fire departments were invited....
WHY DOES MAYOR JAMES & COUNCIL HATE THE FIRE SERVICE SO MUCH ??????????
