"Pine Hill Gone Wild" Loosing Career Political Hacks One OPRA At A Time

Over the last year numerous OPRA requests have been submitted to the small sleepy Borough of Pine Hill (home to a little over 10,000 people) by a few courageous Open Government Advocates.  Gloucester City & Camden County The Truth has posted only a portion of what has been uncovered.  These OPRA’s have exposed years and of corruption and back room shady deals including those made with Donald Trump.  Sadly, there is so much more.  However, the current elected officials seem to want change, possibly because they are afraid of what may come out about them or they truly want what is right.

Why Councilman Charles Warrington, Director of Public Safety is still carrying around a gold police badge?  

Councilman Charles Warrington (D-Pine Hill).  Warrington also serves as a paid member of the Board of Fire Commissioners for the Borough of Pine Hill.  

Why MUA solicitor David Patterson is also allowed to be the municipal solicitor? 

And why is a retired Police Officer who is on a disability pension working as a civilian police officer but has been seen doing police work?

On a cold, rainy afternoon, one of our informants snapped this picture of Retired by injuries sustained on duty Officer Maguire, now known as "Agent Maguire". While this "Agent" is collecting a disability pension and lifetime health care from NJPFRS, he is working as an "Agent" at this accident scene, with a telephone pole snapped in half. Do you think this is legal? Could't this be some type of "Disability Fraud"?

Former Pine Hill Muncipal Clerk Tom Cardis.  Cardis currently serves as CFO of Pine Hill Borough, Pine Hill Board of Education, Fiedsboro Borough and fulltime Buisness Administrator for Gloucester Township.

 

Ex-Mayor Fred Costantino: Done After A Year of Torment And Believing Former Solicitor John “Whips and Chains” Kearney.

Ex-Mayor Fred Costantino (D-Pine Hill), who spent much of his last year in office tormented by OPRA requests and unable to control the Borough's massive coverups.  Costantino also served as Borough Administrator and currently serves as a Pine Hill MUA Commissioner.

Former Special Counsel Todd Gelfand, Esq, who worked with Kearney and Chesseman to destroy the life of Fmr. Sgt. Paul Grieco, until OPRA stopped them.

Ex-Police Chief Ken Cheeseman: Done After Heat Of A Wiretap.

Former Pine Hill Police Chief Ken Cheeseman.  Chesseman is the current Fire Chief in Laurel Springs and is rumored to be a candidate for appointment by Clementon GOP Mayor Jack Nicholson to be the next Fire Chief of Clementon.

Above, former Pine Hill Solicitor John Kearney, taking a nap during a council meeting.  Kearney is currently Solicitor of Somerdale Borough and Gloucester City.  He was relieved (fired) from his duties as Solicitor in Pine Hill after 2011, Lindenwold Borough after 2010, Haddon Heights after 2007 and Audubon Park Borough after 2006.

A Few Questions to Ask Gloucester City Mayor and Council

1.  What council member fell and was injured on the other boat the city owns? (not the sale boat)

2. Who is paying for the sail boat now that the non profit is broke?

3. Why did the dog bite injury at the water plant by an employees dog get  covered up?

4. Why is Kearney still working in Gloucester after most towns have let him go?

5.  Why is the state doing an audit? (I ran into a state employee when at the municipal building the other day)

6. Why did they hire two full time cops when they could of hired several class two officers for half the cost?

Clementon Housing Authority Has Not Updated Personnel Policy Since 1998

Currently part time employees are eligible for heath care benefits and if a person works part time for 25 years they get health care for life at the expense of the taxpayers.  Current Clementon Mayor Jack Nicholson is Chairman of the Clementon Housing Authority?  How has this policy not been changed?   What has Chairman Nicholson been doing as Chairman of the Housing Authority?  Is this another political patronage pit like many municipal authorities?

 

ADDENDUM TO PERSONNEL POLICY

ADOPTED AT 11/10/1998 MEETING

Upon retirement, if an employee has worked full time or part time for a combined total of 25 years or more, the Clementon Housing Authority will pay their supplemental Blue Cross/ Blue Shield for the rest of the employee’s life.

 

 

Lawnside Compiles With State Law After Complaint Was Filed With Camden County Prosecutor’s Office/Why Didn't Lt. Lloyd Lewis Know the Law?

Gloucester City & Camden County The Truth previously reported about the Lawnside Police Department not having an Internal Affairs policy as required by the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General.  After a complaint was filed with the Camden County Porsecutor’s Office it appears the Lawnside Police Department is not complying with the law. 

However why was Lawnside not complying with State Law?

Does Lt. Lloyd Lewis, Ranking Officer know how to run a Department?

The Prosecutors Office, in a December 13, letter to Borough Administrator Jay Todd stated that: “On November 28, 200, Lt. Lewis was interviewed by our office and was explained to us that he was the sole member of the Internal Affairs Unit.  However, he was not familiar with the details of the aforementioned polices.  He was then invited to attend a two day seminar on Internal Affairs at out Police Academy and stated he would attend.  Unfortunately he never showed up. ………………………….In addition, we are referring back to you for an administrative investigation and action you may deem appropriate both the fact that Lt. Lewis did not know the polices on internal affairs and that Lt. Lewis did not follow the polices…….”

Was an investigation done by Lawnside into the actions of Lt . Lewis?

Why would Lt. Lewis say he would attend a training class but never show up?

If Lt. Lewis is not aware of the rules and laws why is he still employed as Ranking Officer with the Lawnside Police Department? 

 

 

 

 

OPRA'S Continue to Produce Questions of Lawnside Borough Regime

Gloucester City & Camden County The Truth, recieved the below email from a resident of Lawnside.  What is going on in this small town?  Corruption at its finest...Only in Camden County.  

WHERE IS THE JUSTICE!!!  The Borough of Lawnside has money to pave Company Street where Mayor Maryanne Warlow has two large lots and she is only paying approximately $350 in property tax for each lot.  However, the residents of Sadler Street have been crying out to get it paved but hasn’t seen a paving truck yet. These residents are dishing out at least $9,000 or more a year for property taxes and can't even get a paved street out of it! 

 The Borough of Lawnside is and has been carrying at least $600,000 or more in delinquent taxes on its books.  How and why are they continuing with such debt year after year?  Do they ever have a tax sale and if so where is it posted? 

 

Did Lawnside Lawyers Lie in Court Documents to the Federal District Court?

Gloucester City & Camden County The Truth previously reported on the case involving Officer Bradley Redrow.  According to documents from Lawnside’s lawyer, who is being represented by Brown & Connery, LLP, who is the JIF lawyer, they state Redrow was only sworn in once, when in fact according to Lawnside he was sworn in twice years apart?  What is Lawnside trying to hide? 

 

 

 

 

 

Why is Hope Hall/Volunteers of America Running a Prison…Doesn’t Camden Have Homeless People That Need Beds or Does Camden Mayor Dana Reed, Freeholder Director Cappelli and Boss George Norcross Like the Idea of Tent City Developments ?

In addition United States Congressman Rob Andrews recently gave money to the VOA.  Is he helping to fund a prison?  What is going on in Camden City and Camden County?

A tax search of Hope Hall located at 676 Fairview Street, Camden City, NJ shows that the owner is Delaware Valley Property Inc., 235 White Horse Pike, Collingswood, NJ 08107, Class 15 D.  According to the State of New Jersey  Class 15D stands for "Church and Charitable Property."  Does a prison fall into this classification.  If this was not a type of prison why would the New Jersey Department of Corrections be involved with Hope Hall?
