Last night the below story ran on NBC 10 Philadelphia about the Pine Hill Fire Department using taxpayer equipment to roof the mayors house.
In addition last night a Pine Hill resident along with others, including one public official called for the Mayor of Pine Hill to resign over this. At the meeting one resident spoke about how the fire chief came to her home and demanded to speak to her because she exercised her right to speak out and ask questions and is now being harassed. Pine Hill Fire Chief John Greer, also serves as the Code Enforcement officer for Pine Hill and the Emergency Managment Coordinator. He is retired out of the Camden County Prosecutors Office. Two individuals have signed criminal complaints against Greer.
The meeting was attended by a number of people: residents, former residents, concerned citizens, government advocates and public officials. Members of a local watchdog group South Jersey Citizens were also in attendance at the meeting.
